AUTOMATIC BATCHING SYSTEMS
Automatic Batching Systems have been developed over many years world wide for the industrial waste water treatment plant market. Automatic batching has been designed to treat the more difficult wastewater where flow rates are manageable for the smaller type of process. It is ideal in applications where larger type equipment such as DAF or a clarification system appears a little too large and complicated or cost prohibitive.
The automatic batching process is fully automated, low cost system combining waste water treatment and sludge dewatering in one simple to operate unit.
The key to the batching system is its simplicity and the use of the process to after pH control use a specially blended powdered chemical. This chemical contains all the critical ingredients to precipitate, coagulate and flocculate. The flocc settle and are then dewatered by a simple gravity filter bed leaving in most cases a clear filtrate which will meet the sewer discharge limits. In many cases, reuse of the waste water is possible.
The automatic batching process requires minimal operator attendance and very low maintenance. Operation costs are limited to chemicals, filter paper and the disposal of sludge.
An automatic batching system is a very simple and highly effective solution to many trade waste applications. The fully automated range requires minimal attention. A few minutes a day for routine checks plus replenishment of filter paper and chemicals when required.
The control system is based on a sequence of timed events and is operated by a PLC allowing simple adjustment of all parameters to operate the system.
